CONSULTING SERVICES
The primary focus of our company is development and deployment of business automation and document and image processing automation solutions, employing the latest available technology. Everyday activities can only add to our knowledge and sharpen our skills in software development, systems integration, image processing automation, systems administration and understanding the intricate structure of variety of business organizations. In addition, such knowledge is the force behind constant innovation in the scope of our own products and services.
We put this knowledge to good use when helping customers to implement, maintain and administer their IT systems, offering them post-sale support, or simply to advise them of their options. In this process, it is important to maintain a good understanding of the state of the art of technology, and anticipate future developments. As the marketplace becomes ever more competitive, it is of vital importance to businesses to find ways of minimizing costs and improving their day-to-day operations on an on-going basis.
Together with our customers we work on projects including:
- Business automation systems development, deployment and administartion: For more than four years we have been involved in implementation, customization and administration of big ERP software packages such as BAAN (TRITON), and smaller ones alike (ASI). We have consulted customers on what ERP system is best for their purposes and budget. We have also implemented our ERP software at customers' sites;
- Systems analysis is an integral part of any undertaking of the nature of systems integration. Lately, potential Y2K problems are on top of the list of concerns for many businesses and individuals;
- Networking and internetworking is the infrastructure on which any IT strategy can be build -- take it away, and your business may grind to a halt! An important subset of activities closely linked and dependent on networking is the Electronic Commerce and EDI, in the rush toward offering your customers round-the-clock access to information;
- Security is an issue particularly when part of your IT system is exposed (connected to the Internet, or accessible through remote access) to provide said access to information;
Without claims for completness, the purpose of above points is to establish the fact that an IT system today is not what it used to be five years ago -- both in nature and in the criteria it needs to meet. With many individuals flocking to the IT services provider business, it is hard for the average customer to estimate the level of professionalism offered by individuals and businesses. Unfortunately, there is no absolute answer to this question -- the general advice to customers is 'Buyers, beware!'.
